With the Popping Stand, you can easily transform your cake into a Surprise Cake. This tutorial walks you through how to make a Surprise Cake in three quick, clean, and simple steps.
What you'll need:
- Popping Cake Stand
- Store-bought or homemade cake
- Hidden gift
- Spatula
- Frosting and/or sprinkles
Step 1: Load gift
Surprise them with money, gifts cards, a new phone, car keys, jewelry, tickets, toys, a gender reveal, or even POP the question! The Pop-abilities are endless! The size of the Gift Pod is 2.75”D x 6”H.
Step 2: Core out center
Every Popping Cake Stand comes with a Cake Corer to easily remove the center of your cake. Once removed, you can use the center of your cake as a mini cake! Make sure the cake is at room temperature.
Step 3: Place cake on stand and hide top
Level the top of the cake with the top of the stand and tighten the thumb screws to secure it on. Lightly conceal the top using frosting, sprinkles, or both! We recommend using a standard 8”-10” round cake no taller than 6”.
