Did the sharks take a bite out of Surprise Cake?
Getting to pitch to the sharks on ABC's Shark Tank was a (literal) dream come true. As Surprise Cake founder and long time Shark Tank fan, Liz Charm, noted in a local interview, "it's debatable whether I created a product to go on Shark Tank... or the other way around."
The process was tough. It took Liz and her son, co-founder Jordan Long, months to get their pitch, props, and minds prepped for the show -and all in quarantine due to Covid 19. Luckily, their segment aired in the 4th episode of season 12. Two years after launching, showing the Popping Cake Stand to all of America is icing on the cake. The best part? The party's just getting started!
